Welcome. You've reached the website of Pathwise Press and Bathtub Gin.
Gin is a biannual literary/art magazine looking for words and images that
have some kick to them...just like bathtub gin in its heyday!...featuring poetry, short
fiction, drama, essays, artwork, and much more.
Pathwise Press publishes chapbooks of poetry and fiction. We do not
publish celebrity biographies or self-help books for pets.
This is NOT an on-line magazine/press...we use 100% real paper.

A TOAST TO A DEPARTED FRIEND
Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Alas, though Mr. Thomas's words are good advice, the wise men seem to have gone fishing. On last word, NYC's Gotham Book
Mart, one of the great independent bookstores and one of the few retail outlets for Bathtub Gin has closed its doors.
I shan't indulge in another one of my diatribes against the machinations and insipid nature of corporate bookstores, I'll
simply offer this plea...
For the love of all the holy gods, folks, please support your local and independent booksellers!
